About

Hi there! I'm Danielle Reno, the owner of Headwaters Freelancing. My husband and I, with our five kiddos, live in Lexington, North Carolina.

I enjoy helping others, and I believe that is what has led me to be a virtual assistant. Every business owner needs someone in their corner to offer a hand, even in the simple things. I want to be that person for you!

It is so fulfilling to help a client on the edge of growth who needs the extra hand to get through the mountain of to-dos on their list. Or the business owner who is swamped learning all the new software for their business and needs help sorting through it all.

Let me utilize my years of experience in administrative support, customer service, and small business logistics to help you succeed.

My story

Coming from a long line of small business owners, I am inspired by their tenacity and grit. Small business owners and entrepreneurs are a unique bunch, and I am passionate about helping them with the small steps to success.

My path to Headwaters was a bit unconventional. I enrolled in a 6-week Virtual Assistant certification course while moving across the country! Despite living in hotels with my husband and five children for nearly two months while searching for a home to buy, I completed the certification course and followed it up with a two-month internship. This is how Headwaters was born!

My previous experience as an administrative assistant and a learning center director has been invaluable in running my VA business. I have managed branding, website design, licensing, customer service, research, CRM management, billing, staffing, and other essential tasks that keep everything running smoothly.

I love working with my clients! Supporting them in the success of their business, watching them grow, and seeing their goals realized is what Headwaters is all about!

Bridge over a River

I'll Never Forget

When I was a kid, my family and I visited the headwaters of the Mississippi River in Minnesota. As I splashed around in the water, I almost couldn't believe that this small lake could be the beginning of such a massive river. It is something that has stayed with me all of these years. I doubt I'll ever forget it.Now, as an adult, that memory inspired me in my business. It reminds me that success isn't achieved all at once. It is through small steps that success is realized.
